Emily Cole is Liquid Light’s cofounder and CSO. She currently co-leads development of its first commercial process for the production of ethylene glycol from carbon dioxide (CO2). Before joining the company in 2009, she developed catalysts to convert CO2 to fuels and industrial chemicals in an academic setting. She received a Ph.D. in chemistry from Princeton University, where she was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow. She also received a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Texas, Austin.
